I don´t know about you but I usually don´t think much about the cost of a movie I just watched in cinema or at
home on my couch. I know that making a good movie is expensive and that audience want to see amazing special effects
in the movie they are watching. However, did you know that top 10 most expensive movies in the world cost 2 billion dollar (togehter) to make?

The most expensive movie to make in the world was Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. The cost to make this movie was
300 million dollar. The pirates made 960 million dollar of movie ticket sales.

The second most expensive movie to make was Spiderman 3. The cost to make this movie was 258 million dollar and it made
890 million dollar from movie ticket sales.

Quantum of Solace, a new James Bond movie, is still being shown in the cinemas and have made 527 million dollar so
far from movie ticket sales and the cost to make this movie was 230 million dollar.



Did you know that the cost of making Titanic was 200 million dollar?

For most of us these numbers are science fiction but as you can see every one of them made a nice profit if you take a look at ticket sales.
